About the teacher
”In this course, you will learn how to assemble complete websites in Magnolia using Light Development. Building on existing templates and components, the focus shifts to site structure, configuration, and reuse across pages and languages.
You will work with site definitions, content inheritance, prototype templates, domain mappings, and template availability rules. The course also covers themes, image renditions, and multilingual website setups. By the end, you will understand how to structure and configure scalable Magnolia websites that are easy to maintain, extend, and adapt to different use cases.”
Completion of M6.3 – Templating 1: FreeMarker and Templating Fundamentals is required. This course builds directly on the templates, components, and Light Development setup created there.
Both conceptually and technically, the exercises reuse existing page, area, and component templates and will not work without this foundation.
